Description

 

An IfcOpeningElement, that is assigned to an IfcElement using the IfcRelVoidsElement relationship, shall not be directly included in the spatial structure through the relationship IfcRelContainedInSpatialStructure. A filling within the opening however is included in the spatial structure through the relationship IfcRelContainedInSpatialStructure.

  • The wall has a door opening. The applicable relationships are shown in the figure below:
